چکیده

For modeling the topological relations between spatial objects, the concepts of a bound on the intersection of the boundary and interior, and the boundary and exterior are defined in this paper based on the newly developed computational fuzzy topology. Furthermore, the qualitative measures for the intersections are specified based on the a-cut induced fuzzy topology, which are (Aa‘qA)(x),12a and ((A)a‘qA)(x),12a. In other words, the intersection of the interior and boundary or boundary and exterior are always bounded by 12a, where a is a value of a level cutting. Specifically, the following areas are covered: (a) the homeomorphic invariants of the fuzzy topology; (b) a definition of the connectivity of the newly developed fuzzy topology; (c) a model of the fuzzy topological relations between simple fuzzy regions in GIS; and (d) the quantitative values of topological relations can be calculated.

مدل‌سازی روابط توپولوژیک سه بعدی فازی در محیط GIS

Nowadays, geospatial information systems (GIS) are widely used to solve different spatial problems based on various types of fundamental data: spatial, temporal, attribute and topological relations. Topological relations are the most important part of GIS which distinguish it from the other kinds of information technologies. One of the important mechanisms for representing topological relations...

A fuzzy topology for computing the interior, boundary, and exterior of spatial objects quantitatively in GIS

There have been many research developments on the conceptual description of topological relations between spatial objects. In order to practically implement these conceptual topological relations in a computer environment, we need to calculate the values of the topological relations. One of the theoretical bases for doing this is a computational fuzzy topology, which is the research focus of th...

TOPOLOGICAL SIMILARITY OF L-RELATIONS

$L$-fuzzy rough sets are extensions of the classical rough sets by relaxing theequivalence relations to $L$-relations. The topological structures induced by$L$-fuzzy rough sets have opened up the way for applications of topological factsand methods in granular computing. In this paper, we firstly prove thateach arbitrary $L$-relation can generate an Alexandrov $L$-topology.Based on this fact, w...

Quantitative fuzzy topological relations of spatial objects by induced fuzzy topology

This paper presents a study on the modeling of fuzzy topological relations between uncertain objects in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Based on the recently developed concept of computational fuzzy topological space, topological relations between simple fuzzy spatial objects are modeled. The fuzzy spatial objects here cover simple fuzzy region, simple fuzzy line segment and fuzzy point. ...

Fuzzy Spatial Relations for 2D Scene

Different models for computing the spatial relations have been developed in the last decade. Separate methods are used for computing topological, directional and distance relations. These models have also been extended in fuzzy domains based on fuzzy or vague objects and less attention has been paid to fuzzy relations. In this paper 8 fuzzy topological relations are computed with the help of 1D...
